The Portuguese memories
Located in Guaruja, about an hour drive from Sao Paolo, Jorge Elias projected the house that evokes the Portuguese colonization and another Baroque style of Minas Gerais of the Century.
The designerused stones from Minas Gerais, mixed with 18th century Portuguese "azulejos", the typical form of Portuguese painted tin-glazed ceramic tile work, but in some parts of the house it's possible to find the Greek touch.
The furniture is 18th and 19th Siéclectic, much in the Arabian style of Syria and Turkey, with touches of Indian Maharaha style.
Blue, white and yellow - the classic colors of the Brazilian colonial style make part of the main colour pallete of this house.
This house is filled with memories of countless trips like the central table of the lounge, on which Jorge decided hundreds of seashells, memories of holidays, beaches visited and my dives!
