MEGA SHOW Hong Kong Set to Extend Its Show Days in 2024

Organised by Comasia Limited, MEGA SHOW Hong Kong is set to extend its show days to 8 days in the October 2024 edition to meet the sourcing needs of global buyers. 


Over the past 30 years, MEGA SHOW Hong Kong has established its reputation as a vital destination for global buyers during their Asia sourcing trip in Autumn. Held annually at the downtown location of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, MEGA SHOW is the ideal place for global buyers to meet suppliers and cultivate longer-term, strategic relationships with them. It is also the best place to explore the next best-selling products and connect with reliable suppliers from Asia and beyond. Buyers from the America and Europe are happy to travel long distance to attend the show for the high-quality and diversified products.

Over the past 30 years, MEGA SHOW Hong Kong has established its reputation as a vital destination for global buyers during their Asia sourcing trip in Autumn. In the 2023 edition, MEGA SHOW Hong Kong had returned to its pre-pandemic form with over 4,000 stands. The response of the 7-day show was overwhelming. MEGA SHOW Part 1 had attracted 26,282 buyers from 120 countries & regions, whereas Part 2 had attracted 6,327 buyers from 96 countries & regions.

This year’s floorspace is filling up fast. Suppliers from Australia, Bangladesh, Belgium, Bulgaria, China, Czech Republic, France, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Nepal, Poland, South Korea, Taiwan, Turkey, United Kingdom, USA and Vietnam have already signed up to exhibit in the show.

And several of the strongest projects are renovations rather than new builds. Read together, the winners point toward where hospitality design is heading as the year continues. Designed for the Season Several of this year's winners speak directly to the season ahead. Kona Village , on Hawaii's Big Island, reimagines an 81-acre resort around the history of Kaupulehu, led by Greg Warner and Mike McCabe of Walker Warner. The rebuilt property includes 150 traditional guest hale, a new spa, and five restaurants and bars—two of which carry over from the original resort. Rather than a wholesale reinvention, the project reads as a continuation: a property rebuilt around what made the original site significant in the first place.
