Amanzoe

July 28, 2021

Scattered with Unesco-protected ruins, the beach-fringed Peloponnese has been at the heart of Greek culture for millennia. Amanzoe rests on its east coast offering an ideal escape for people to reconnect with one another and the earth, in space, seclusion and serenity.

Amanzoe rests is a modern-day Acropolis from which 360-degree views encompass olive groves and Aegean blue. Pavilions and villas with private pools open onto fragrant gardens, and speedboats await at the beach to zip between nearby islands.

Beach Club

Amanzoe's Beach Club is a destination in itself, with four swimming pools, a restaurant and lounging areas, a boutique, several overnight Cabanas, a two-room spa and a gym.
Here, fringed with lush Mediterranean vegetation, the crescent beach lies a 10-minute complimentary transfer or easy downhill bike ride away from the hilltop resort. The sheltered bay makes for calm waters, ideal for all levels of swimming, snorkelling and diving. Running the length of the beach are four magnificent swimming pools, two for children, with expansive terraces offering loungers in both sun and shade. An abundance of space and easy access to the Beach Club’s restaurant and lounge areas make these swimming pools the ideal destination for whiling away summer days.

Restaurant
Open for breakfast and dinner, the airy Restaurant offers deep-blue sea views from its terrace and through soaring windows, and serves an exquisite medley of Greek, Mediterranean and international dishes. Try the catch of the day cooked in salt dough, or choose the Greek degustation menu with wine pairings. Amanzoe’s network of skilled regional purveyors ensures only the freshest, highest quality ingredients year-round.

Pool Restaurant
Overlooking Amanzoe’s magnificent hilltop swimming pool with breathtaking views of the Aegean coastline, the Pool Restaurant is open daily for lunch. The menu features light Mediterranean fare based on fresh fish and meat, vegetables cultivated in the resort’s own organic gardens and Greek seasonal delicacies.

Wellness
The holistic healings of Hippocrates are the inspiration for Amanzoe’s light-filled 2,850-square-metre Spa, combining diet, gymnastics, exercise, massage and sea bathing with modern natural products and treatments. Only all-natural products are used, and a broad variety of proven movement modalities help treat the individual as a coherent, integrated whole.
Lavender scents the air and sunlight streams into the Spa’s stone courtyards, where water features reflect the light. Aman’s signature massages, facials, body scrubs and wraps as well as a range of specialty treatments are offered in five indoor and two outdoor spa suites.

Accomodation

Designed by renowned architect Ed Tuttle, the villas bring together the colonial grandeur of classical Greek architecture where modern amenities and the feeling of consummate privacy are found in abundance. Each villa has the private pool, landscaped garden view and expansive terraces to encourage an outdoor lifestyle. Each bedroom affords its own en suite to ensure each guest some time alone, while for entertaining, the airy and open plan living and dining rooms are lively social hubs.
