The Stellar - the perfect choice for both short and long stays

October 22, 2023

Located in the heart of Hong Kong Island the Stellar Hotel & Serviced Apartments is a delightful blend of the sophistication of a hotel and the comfort of a home, accompanied by the breathtaking view.

LOCATION & BUILDING CONCEPT

The building concept of The Stellar is a testament to its name, reflecting both its striking façade and its significance as an emblem of excellence in the vibrant North Point neighbourhood in which it is located.

The concept of The Stellar is rooted in the rich history of Chun Yeung Street. This iconic street derives its name from Guo Chun Yeung, a prominent figure in the sugar industry who played a significant role in the area's development. The sugar-crystal inspired facade captures the bustling sightseeing scene where trams gracefully winds its way through the vibrant neighbourhood of markets and authentic food stalls. The Stellar combines heritage with contemporary design, offering a truly remarkable and immersive living environment.

COMMON AREAS

The Stellar offers a wide range of common area facilities including a stylish Lounge Stellar, Common Pantry and a well-equipped Gym. It provides various professional services, such as a dedicated security and customer service team, with a strong commitment to meeting guests' needs.

In particular, the common pantry allows guests to cook with the convenience and comfort reminiscent of home. It enhances stay experience by promoting social interactions, facilitating new connections and a sense of belonging to the locale.

ROOMS / SUITES

The Stellar has various types of spaces ranging from rooms to suites to the Harbour View penthouse. Their interior design follows the concept of the "sugar cube" journey, continuing the theme from the exterior facade to the interior spaces.

Emphasizing the cube geometry, the furniture design reflects this unique architectural inspiration. However, the hotel's design philosophy goes beyond aesthetics. Nature-inspired elements are incorporated into the guestroom design, with the use of colors and elements reminiscent of wood in the entrance foyer and bedroom area.

"We strive to create a serene and soothing atmosphere by carefully considering the materials and colors, ensuring our guests feel relaxed and rejuvenated during their stay."

Soft fabrics adorn the earth-tone furniture, such as stools and sofas, providing a sense of comfort and harmony. The focal point of each guestroom is a juxtaposing feature wall, adomed with textured paint that shimmers in the light. This captivating design element represents the journey of the 'sugar cube, completing the seamless transition from the exterior to the interior, enveloping guests in an enchanting ambiance. All room windows are designed for limited opening to allow for fresh air circulation, and the thoughtful inclusion of a combined washer-dryer caters to guests' needs.
