Indya by Vineet
The restaurant, located at Le Royal Meridien at Jumeirah Beach mixes a simple material palette of concrete flooring and an exposed ceiling with real wow elements such as the impressive floor to ceiling Ganesh graffiti. A vibrant mix of eclectic pieces immediately gives this outlet a fun and unique identity. colourful FF&E paired with strong geometric patterns will appeal to anyone wanting a distinct Indian flavour with a twist.
The dynamic circular shape of the restaurant, lends itself to creating a different experience in every element of the restaurant including a hidden gem within the large central core. Upon approaching the restaurant, a peek into the signature gin tasting room leaves a visitor longing to see more. Illuminated graphic panels house a range of unusual and limited edition, Indian themed gins for an intimate and signature cocktail experience or alternatively a large communal high table is placed by the bar to create the perfect space for trying the sensational cocktails. Large booth seating areas are perfect for big groups whilst a more interactive and casual experience at the open kitchen counter can also be enjoyed.
Attention is drawn to the kitchen through the open concept with large functioning tandoors on display at the counter. Bifold doors around the full perimeter of the space allow for the restaurant to be fully opened, giving a different, al fresco dining experience to be enjoyed in the cooler months.
The fun interiors of the restaurant coupled with the personality and cooking flare of Chef Vineet, create a relaxed yet colourful experience, in almost every way.
