Cosy shelter
Designed by the Brazilian architect, Patricia Martinez, this project was thought to a Brazilian family whose hobbies are skiing and outdoor adventures. This work had a partnership with an American company named Menendez Architects that were essential to adapt the project to the rules of the country. The reform and renovation of the residence lasted a year.
The residence is located on the hill and was built in the decade of the 90’s. It had already been reformed several times until the Brazilian architect worked in this project and transformed it into a sophisticated shelter.
The spaces are soft and presents organic and female forms to a contemporary and clean environment. Without excesses, the residents wouldn’t like a heavy and luxurious house, but they wanted a comfortable, practical and especially welcoming place.
For the interior design, the request was a very clean decoration with neutral tones of oak, brown, caramel, black and off-white that were balanced in several dephts layers.
