MEGA SHOW Hong Kong: A Strategic Event in the Heart of Asia

Organized by Comasia Limited, the first stage of the renowned Hong Kong furniture and decor fair took place from 20 to 23 October 2024, establishing itself as an unmissable event for industry professionals and buyers from all over the world.


The show is held in vibrant Hong Kong, a natural crossroads between East and West. This strategic positioning allows attendees to access a rapidly growing market and build business relationships with partners from every corner of the globe.

Since its debut in 1992, MEGA SHOW Hong Kong annually establishes itself as the benchmark for the furniture design industry at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The October edition was no exception, further cementing its reputation as a showcase of excellence and innovation in the Asian market.



This year, the show hosted over 2.458 exhibitors with a total of 3.195 booths and attracted over 21.491 professional buyers, once again demonstrating its ability to unite the best in the industry.

A springboard for the Asian market


The Asian market is today one of the most dynamic and influential in the global furniture landscape. Participating in the MEGA SHOW Hong Kong means having direct access to a vast network of local and international contacts, essential for anyone who wants to expand their business.

Exhibitors highlighted the importance of the event to consolidate their presence in the region and to get in touch with qualified buyers, looking for innovative and high-quality products.


This year, the international trade environment is challenging with the European economy showing no signs of improvement and various conflicts around the world. However, amidst this challenging situation, MEGA SHOW Hong Kong still managed to attract buyers from 110 countries and regions, with around 40% of attendees coming from Europe and the United States, underlining the fair's attractiveness to these markets. Over 50% of visiting buyers came from Asia and Oceania, mainly due to the resilience of the Asia-Pacific economy and substantial demand for various products.

The 2025 MEGA SHOW Part 1 Hong Kong will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center from October 20 to 23, 2025. Kona Village , on Hawaii's Big Island, reimagines an 81-acre resort around the history of Kaupulehu, led by Greg Warner and Mike McCabe of Walker Warner. The rebuilt property includes 150 traditional guest hale, a new spa, and five restaurants and bars—two of which carry over from the original resort. Rather than a wholesale reinvention, the project reads as a continuation: a property rebuilt around what made the original site significant in the first place.
