Made with bravery: 7 Ukrainian Design Brands at Salone Del Mobile 2023

From minimalist objects to sculptural bespoke furnishings, Ukrainian designers have showcased their talent at this year's Salone del Mobile in Milan.


The Ukrainian manufacturers faced significant difficulties due to the war, such as shifting production to different locations from conflict zones, broken supply chains, and the challenge of finding new contractors.
The Ukrainian design brands at Salone del Mobile are a testament to the growing recognition of Ukraine as a hub of creative and innovative design. Their eye-catching products are all united in how they illustrate a sense of freedom, courage, and beauty, making the exhibition an excellent representation of the country's design scene.

Salone del Mobile supported Ukrainian designers givings the opportunity to seven design brands to showcase their innovative and exciting products that collectively embody Ukraine's identity and distinctive aesthetics, blending familiar materials and traditional crafting techniques, rich cultural history, and dynamic modernity.



WOO's accent furniture pieces feature laconic sculptural shapes and playful designs that attract attention and provoke interaction. The 'PLAY' armchair and 'DROVA' pouf have unique shapes, while the 'LOOP' pouf offers endless seating variations. The 'FOX' bar/counter stool and 'COVER' coffee table come with customization options, while the 'FULL FILL' mirror features surrealism inspired by Salvador Dalí.



Balancing between expression and function, NOOM is a place where design meets art. NOOM 's signature minimalist aesthetic, functional design, and striking products "built to last" will surely impress design enthusiasts. From the bold Flock furniture set to the exquisite marble dining table Paul, Freyja coffee tables and Lakes mirrors, NOOM's complementary products create a warm and inviting atmosphere.

PANOPTIKUM Collections, founded by Andrii Rudenko and Boris Pylypenko, will showcase the Bubbles cabinet, a conceptual wonder inspired by soap and fantasy bubbles infused with emotions and meaning.



llab.design, renowned for its sustainable and elegant design pieces crafted from high-quality marble, will showcase a range of furniture collections at the event. Among the products are a series of coffee tables, wall panel and bar cabinet from the VIYALO collection, the TEMPO table inspired by ancient sun watches, and the PERSPEKTYVA arc decor made from premium travertine limestone.


DONNA, a family business founded in 2008, collaborates with famous Ukrainian designers to create original design products expressing inspiration through modern design and naturalness. The RAFT sofa by SVOYA studio has an inflatable boat-inspired design with belted details, while the Suminagashi coffee tables are one-of-a-kind, inspired by an ancient Japanese painting technique.

Tivoli is a family-owned furniture production since 1968. Showcasing new collections of wooden chairs and tables, such as minimalist and ergonomic Calm collection, elegant and universal Pillar chairs and affordable Scandinavian classics.




Mebus manufacture offers high-quality furniture with short lead times and affordable prices. The veneered MIAMI collection showcases their mastery in using veneer, similar to how veneer is applied to preserve paintings at the Louvre Museum in Paris.
