KXL Studio: Award-Winning Innovators of Luxury Apartment Architecture

October 6, 2023

KXL Studio, a renowned architectural firm led by founder Andrei Nistor, has been chosen by Luxury Lifestyle Awards as a winner in Best Luxury Apartment Architecture. This esteemed accolade highlights KXL Studio's exceptional work on UP-site, an upcoming residential project in Bucharest, Romania.

For over 16 years, KXL Studio has been at the forefront of contemporary architecture, consistently delivering innovative designs and pushing boundaries in the industry. The company's dynamic pace of development and diverse areas of specialization have contributed to its success both locally and internationally. KXL Studio has successfully completed projects in Switzerland and France, showcasing their ability to create architectural marvels across borders.

At KXL Studio, client satisfaction and a commitment to excellence are paramount. The team takes great care to understand the needs and aspirations of their clients, engaging in constructive dialogues to ensure the best possible outcome for each project.

UP-site, the award-winning project in Romania, embodies KXL Studio's dedication to creating exceptional living spaces. The apartment complex features a striking full glass façade, seamlessly blending aesthetics and functionality. Ingenious construction and engineering solutions, such as the implementation of fresh air circulation equipment in the apartments, showcase KXL Studio's commitment to sustainability and the well-being of residents.

Noteworthy sustainable practices integrated into the UP-site project include rainwater retention for lawn watering, a high-energy efficient centralized cooling and heating system, exterior "brise soleil" for optimized temperature control, and dedicated bike facilities to promote eco-friendly transportation. These environmentally conscious features contribute to reducing the ecological footprint of the development and enhancing the quality of life for its inhabitants.

To accomplish the UP-site project, KXL Studio collaborated with renowned partners, each bringing their expertise to the table. Bueso-Inchausti & Rein Arquitectos contributed to the concept design, Kickland Proiect Consult SRL handled the general design, Pipe Design served as the MEP Designer, BTD Construct & Ambient undertook the role of general contractor, and DI&A Design acted as the structural engineer.

As UP-site nears its completion, scheduled for October 2023, KXL Studio eagerly anticipates unveiling this architectural masterpiece to the public. The project's emphasis on green spaces, with over 38% of the land dedicated to lush gardens, and the provision of fast-charging parking spots for electric vehicles further solidify its commitment to environmental sustainability.

“We want to thank the wonderful team at Luxury Lifestyle Awards for this recognition! We are very proud of our project, UP-site, and we can’t wait to share it with the world. I would also like to thank our dedicated team for their hard work and relentless effort."
