Historic charm in Charlottesville
Originally constructed in 1799 as a classic colonial-style home for the daughter of Thomas Jefferson and her husband, the interiors are being reimagined by the acclaimed Blackberry Farm Design (known for their work at Tennessee’s Blackberry Farm Resort) to artfully balance a classic yet contemporary style for an inspiring getaway in a modern, chic country estate.
Here guests may dine and socialize in the Library, a comfortable yet sophisticated space that is saturated in rich hues with booklined and art-filled walls, the local Wine Cellar with private entrance, the exclusive Chef’s Counter in the kitchen, and on the outdoor seasonal patio.
With 20 guest rooms and suites arranged among five beautifully restored late 18th and early 19th century buildings throughout our 100-acre property, the hotel offers the ideal accommodations for families, leisure groups, business retreats and wedding parties.
